About two months ago I began researching my family, The Justices, on Ancestry.com. For years I had known about our branch of the family back to the 1830s, but nothing else. What I knew was that my ggggrandfather, Caleb Justice, was from Kentucky and that his son, Philip, had settled in Lawrence County, Ohio around Ironton after the Civil War. One of his sons, Benjamin Frank Justice (my ggrandfather) moved to Guernsey Co., Ohio around 1920, settling first in Byesville and then in Cambridge, where he died in 1944 at the house of his son (my grandfather), Thomas Henry Justice, who was born in 1910 and was a shoe cobbler his entire life. He died in 1987. One of his sons is Charles David Justice, who was born in 1946 and moved to Sarahsville, Noble Co., OH with his wife. I was born in 1972 and have lived in Sarahsville since '73. Just thought I'd pass that information along. Since researching my family, I have found out a wealth of information I didn't previously know. I hope to find out more in the future.
